Remove Share Count from Genesis Simple Share

The Genesis Simple Share plugin is one of my favorite plugins; it allows your site’s visitors to share your posts by clicking on the social media icon on your blog posts.

Recently, Twitter made some updates, which meant that the share count for Twitter is no longer being added to the Simple Share. From doing additional reading, it would appear that other social media sites will be following suit. Until that time, I’ve had people request the ability to remove the share counts for all of the sites.

Here’s how it currently looks with Twitter not displaying the share count: 

In order to remove the share count, you need to add this to your stylesheet:
