This tutorial provides the steps to move the secondary nav menu above site header in Genesis themes. On the Pretty Darn Cute Facebook group, someone wanted to move the secondary navigation from above the footer widgets to below the subscription widget, above the site title.
How to move the secondary nav menu above site header in Genesis themes

-
Step Two
Replace it with this:
This will move your secondary navigation from above the footer to below the subscription widget, and above the header:
Note: these instructions were written specifically for the Pretty Travel theme, but the same principle applies for other themes – you’ll just need to look for how the secondary navigation is registered for your particular theme.
As always, I recommend that you don’t make updates to your functions.php file if you’re not familiar with PHP, as any error could cause your site to crash. I recommend that prior to making any updates, make sure that you have performed a site backup, and that you have a fresh functions.php file available to revert your changes.
If you’re using the Pretty Travel theme, or any other theme built on the Genesis Framework, and are interested in having me implement this for you, send me a note
