Add an Alternate Home Page in the MomPreneur theme

The MomPreneur theme has a widgetized home page. The demo displays the Genesis Responsive Slider and a Genesis Featured Page on the home page.

If you want to display blog posts on your home page, it’s just a matter of not adding content to the slider widget on the home page.

But what if you want to display a slider and your latest blog posts?

I’ve created the “Alternate” Home Page layout. To display the alternate home page, rename your existing home.php file (oldhome.php works well). Then, create a new file called home.php, and add the content below into the file:
